Louis was our middle child. We put his American and Canadian championships on him, and then he became our “barn dog. “ We moved from Alaska to Washington State and put him in the front yard to enjoy life. Then one day our friend Terri Erickson pulled into the driveway and said “ Who’s that, I want to show him! “ I said “ Okay, I’ll get him bathed and groomed. “ Terri and Lou’s first show of the year was the PNNC Specialty where he won an Award of Merit. They then went on to have a fantastic season of 9 Group placements, including a Group 1. Earning his invitation to Eukanuba, he finished his year by going to Long Beach, California and winning the first Award of Excellence. We are so proud of our Top 20 barn dog! Many thanks go to his breeders, Ingrid Lyden and Lanelle Warrick, to his handlers Terri Erickson and Scott Price, and the all time consuming challenge of grooming done by my co-breeder / friend Holly Kramer of Blacktie Newfoundlands. We thank each and every one of them for an excellent and successful career. Louis is now a veteran and back to being a very happy barn dog dusting off now and then for Specialties and such
