STUART. The boy. The big handsome. The love of my life….. I have many people to thank for his wonderful success and career. From the moment his breeders Chris and Ingrid Lyden sent him to Alaska and I opened that crate and he launched and put his arms around my neck, I knew he was SPECIAL. Next it was off to Aunt Holly’s puppy boot camp and her great abilities to get the Alaska all hard won single points on him. I know he was a hand full, but she never gave up. He was then put in Mike Floyds capable hands, outside in the states for his two 5 point majors and his championship. Thankfully this happened in one trip as Stuart is a big boy and must be shipped air cargo. Three years later we were able to move to Washington state, where handler Tonya Struble sees his potential and puts 9 Group placements on him, to include 6 Group II’s and 3 Group III’s. All of her hard work put him in this Top 20 for the year 2006. Stuart retired for awhile, but as a veteran he decided it was time to show his mom. Entering in Regional Specialties he won 5 Award of Merits not including the 6th one he won at PNNC to start out his Top 20 year. He aged well and never lost his ability to get in the show ring and move. The grand ending of his career was recognized this year at the Eukanuba shows 2009, at Long Beach, California. Handler and friend Oscar won the 1st Award of Excellence with the boy. Stuart is now fully retired and is busy being my boy, the big handsome, the love of my life.
